2009 Jerry Kandler Memorial Golf Outing

It’s nearly time for our 2009 Jerry Kandler Memorial Golf Outing!  Come join us for a day of golf, food, games and prizes!  Details follow:

When: Friday, August 14, 2009

Where: Village Green Golf Course, 8130 Bingham, Newaygo

Time: 10:00 AM, first tee time, staggered starts

Cost

18 holes:  $40 for members, $50 for non-members

9 holes:  $20 for members, $30 for non-members

If you’re coming for dinner only:  Free for members!  $20 for non-members.  Dinner will start after the Outing at approximately 5:00 PM.

Everyone must register! If you plan on golfing, call Village Green at (231) 652-6513 to arrange tee times.  If you’re coming for dinner only, call (231) 924-3449 to RSVP.

The golf outing will include games, prizes and fun!  The money raised will be used to sponsor other events throughout the community.  The FOP Ben Bradford Lodge #135 has sponsored events such as Newaygo County Kids Day, Fremont Little League, MI COPS and the Trooper Kevin Marshall Memorial Park.

Golf Outing meeting, Wednesday 6/3

There will be a meeting at the Fremont City Hall to discuss preparations for the Golf Outing this Wednesday, June 3rd, at 5:00pm.  All members welcome!

2008 Jerry Kandler Memorial Golf Outing

We will be holding our annual golf outing on August 15th at Village Green Golf Course.

The details:

2 person scramble

• Shotgun start – 9:00 AM

Cost:

• 9 Holes: $20 (Members) / $30 (Non-Members)
• 18 Holes: $40 (Members) / $50 (Non-Members)

Deposit:

• 1/2 of the cost up front (full payment will also be available)

Golf:

• The price includes golf w/cart, snacks, steak dinner w/drinks.  Dinner will be served at approximately 4:00 PM.
• Golf includes a betting hole, skins, chipping contest, mulligans, prize raffle, a 50/50 drawing, longest drive, closest to pin, closest to the line and longest putt competition.

See a WhiteCaps game with the FOP

The Ben Bradford Lodge #135 invites all of its members to grab a kid and go to the ball game.  Take your kid, the neighbor’s kid (you have to bring them back home again), a grand kid or any other kid of your choosing and meet together for a night at the WhiteCaps ball field in Comstock Park (not limited to one kid).

We have 50 seats reserved and if we need more we can get them so don’t be bashful.
