Fremont Little League softball team wraps up season

Congratulations to the 2009 Fremont Little League softball team for a winning season!  The team ended the season with a 6-4-2 record.  FOP member Roni Crisman served as assistant coach.  The Lodge also helped sponsor the team.

Board meeting, June 15th

The Board will hold their regular monthly meeting on Monday, June 15th, at 7:00pm, at the RWDSU hall on Warner Avenue south of Fremont.  Members and interested members of the public are welcome to attend!

It’s nearly time for our 2009 Jerry Kandler Memorial Golf Outing!  Come join us for a day of golf, food, games and prizes!  Details follow:

When: Friday, August 14, 2009

Where: Village Green Golf Course, 8130 Bingham, Newaygo

Time: 10:00 AM, first tee time, staggered starts

Cost

18 holes:  $40 for members, $50 for non-members

9 holes:  $20 for members, $30 for non-members

If you’re coming for dinner only:  Free for members!  $20 for non-members.  Dinner will start after the Outing at approximately 5:00 PM.

Everyone must register! If you plan on golfing, call Village Green at (231) 652-6513 to arrange tee times.  If you’re coming for dinner only, call (231) 924-3449 to RSVP.

The golf outing will include games, prizes and fun!  The money raised will be used to sponsor other events throughout the community.  The FOP Ben Bradford Lodge #135 has sponsored events such as Newaygo County Kids Day, Fremont Little League, MI COPS and the Trooper Kevin Marshall Memorial Park.

Golf Outing meeting, Wednesday 6/3

There will be a meeting at the Fremont City Hall to discuss preparations for the Golf Outing this Wednesday, June 3rd, at 5:00pm.  All members welcome!
